Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson shared the very first photo of her baby boy on Friday. Jackson gave birth to son Eissa in early January. “Janet had a stress free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,” the singer’s rep said in a statement at the time.

After the joyous arrival, the new mom understandably stayed at home with her newborn.

She only began stepping out in public in recent weeks, and was photographed pushing a baby stroller just days ago. Now with her little boy just over three months old, the proud mama is finally sharing a precious picture with fans. Jackson tweeted the adorable snapshot on Twitter, writing, “My baby and me after nap time.”

And not only did Jackson share the first public photo of her son, but this also marked the first time she tweeted at all since last November. Jackson gave a pregnancy update and thanked supporters for their prayers. The superstar has been famously private in recent years, so little messages, then and now, tend to mean a lot to fans.

Jackson’s decision to post the picture comes less than a week after it was reported she and husband Wissam Al Mana have split. But neither Jackson nor her rep has commented on the reported divorce. Check out the full photo of the singer with baby Eissa below!
