Usain Bolt Lands Football Contract By European Club

Usain Bolt’s new career in football/soccer is about to take off big.

Jamaican sprint legend turn footballer, Usain Bolt, was reportedly offered a contract from a big name football club in Europe. The eight-time Olympic gold medalist is now on trial for Australian A-Team Central Coast Mariners where he impressed in his first friend game by netting two goals. ESPN has reported that Bolt’s agent confirmed that a European club offered the 32-year-old a deal. The name of the club was not revealed, but sources say Bolt is pretty excited about the possible move to Europe.

“There is a club in Europe that has offered Bolt a two-year deal, they have been taken over by new owners who have aspirations of Champions League football,” Bolt’s agent Tony Rallis said.

Usain Bolt also expressed his willingness to stay with Mariners in Australia saying that they gave him the opportunity to prove himself. The club is also considering keeping him on for the 2018-2019 season. “I’m just happy I got the chance, and I’m proud of myself,” he said.

The sprinter scored two crucial goals to give Mariners the win in their friendly against another A-Team last week. Bolt decided to take on a career in professional football after retiring from track and field in 2016. He has since trained with Borussia Dortmund and Norwegian side Stromgodset.

In related news, Usain Bolt now says he want to start having kids with his girlfriend Kasi Bennett. So you can expect a few little Bolts in the near future.
