Chronixx Drops Visual for ‘I Can’ Music Video

Chronixx rolls out the highly anticipated music video for his smash hit  ‘I Can’. The feel-good single is featured on the Reggae superstar’s chart-topping Grammy-nominated ‘Chronology’ album.

‘I Can’ music video was shot on location in Jamaica. The cut starts with Chronixx playing piano in a yard. The music video showcases life in the ghetto outside of the usual crime and violence which is depicted by the media. The 4-minute video shows footage of people praying in church, school kids playing, kids diving off a waterfall, and some breathtaking aerial shots of the beautiful of the island paradise Jamaica.

“When I look at where I’m coming from I know I’m blessed, and I close my eyes and smile / Sometimes I feel like / The richest man in Babylon / And I’ve done my best / So everything’s alright inside,” Chronixx sings.

Chronixx, whose given name is Jamar McNaughton secured two awards at the 2018 staging of the Your View Awards (YVAs) held at the National Indoor Sports Centre in St Andrew, Jamaica over the weekend. He won awards for ‘Favourite Local Chart-Topping Song of the Year’ with ‘Likes’ and Favourite ‘Local Album of The Year’ for ‘Chronology’.
